We are pleased to announce that long-time team member Eric Violett has been named to the position of Technical Director for D2D eSports. Eric has already contributed to the team in many ways, including providing the design for the D2D Mazda and Mercedes for our first year of competition as a team.
Eric is well versed in using telemetry tools to perform solo testing, and his fastidious approach will prove invaluable as he works on creating a new training and testing program for the team. We feel that in our first year of competition we established a reputation for driving cleanly and being willing to work with others; now, the goal is to begin working to improve performance, and to do that we have to begin using data to enhance our setups and improve coaching and practice.
We thank Eric for all his hard work up to this point, and are excited about this new step forward.
